Patient Info

First Visit

On your first visit, we ask that you bring your dental insurance information and a list of any medications you may be taking. You will be asked to fill out a new patient form upon your arrival, so be sure to arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow yourself the time to fill out the information. You may also want to write down any questions or concerns you have regarding your dental health and bring this list with you. This will help ensure all of your concerns are addressed.

At Lynhurst Dental we encourage our patients to build long lasting relationships with our team to ensure a lifetime of good dental health.

What to expect?

During your first visit to our office, we will review your complete dental and medical history and your dental x-rays. Following a thorough exam, which may include taking new x-rays, we will discuss the results and discuss treatment options available to you. Our mission is to ensure our patients are informed about their dental health.

Most patients will also receive a dental hygiene appointment at this initial visit which will include scaling, polishing and oral hygiene instruction. Children can expect to have a fluoride treatment as well.

Lynhurst Dental is open Monday through Friday as well as one Saturday per month.  Evening hours are also available Mondays and Thursdays. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have an emergency, every attempt will be made to see you right away.

Please see the Contact page to schedule an appointment.

Cancellation Policy

Keeping in mind that our goal is to serve the needs of all patients, especially those in acute pain, our cancellation policy is that patients wishing to change their scheduled appointments must provide a minimum of 24 hours notice. If less than 24 hours of notice is given to cancel an appointment, a minimum $50.00 fee* will be assessed depending on the length of the appointment cancelled.

Please note that insurance companies DO NOT cover fees for broken appointments, therefore, payment is the patient's responsibility.

*Exceptions will be made for illness or personal tragedy.

Financial Policy

Lynhurst Dental is a fee for service practice. Following every visit with us, payment will be required before leaving, unless a pre-arranged settlement was made. We accept cash, debit, Visa and MasterCard.

If you have dental insurance, you will be required to pay the deductible and or the portion which is not covered during your visit.

Please see the Contact page if you have any questions or concerns.

Whether insured or not, all of our patients are fully responsible for all fees.

Lynhurst Dental accepts dental insurance benefit plans. Upon completion of your dental treatment, we will submit your bill to your insurance provider and you will be charged for the balance that is not covered (if any).

Some insurance carriers will require you to pay in full at the time of your visit and will reimburse you. If this is the case, we will be happy to submit your claim for you to ensure you receive your reimbursement promptly.
