Dr. Michelle Gauthier, BSc.H, MSc., DDS graduated from Queen's University with an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Life Sciences and a Masters Degree in the field of Neurophysiology. In 2003 Dr. Gauthier returned home to London to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Western Ontario (now simply known as "Western University", Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry). During that time, Dr. Gauthier published numerous research papers throughout her University degrees and won awards and research scholarships in the division of Oral Pathology at UWO Dental School. Dr. Gauthier currently holds a teaching position at Western University as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the division of Orthodontic & Paediatric Dentistry. She enjoys teaching whenever possible.
Dr. Gauthier is committed to staying current with all dental technologies and techniques. She is dedicated to continuing and expanding her education and knowledge base as new discoveries are made in the ever expanding field of dentistry. Dr. Gauthier is highly skilled and her strengths lie in clinical ability, current standards of practice as well as patient education and communication. She is dedicated to providing exceptional care to both the London and St. Thomas communities (and surrounding area), as well as giving back in any way possible.
Dr. Gauthier has extensive training with hundreds of hours of continuing education in all facets of the profession of dentistry. She also enjoys giving back annually with mission trips to underprivileged countries. Her last trip was July 2014 where she spent a week in Guatemala caring for hundreds of patients in need of treatment.
